The interactive teaches visitors about the limits of their short term memory. Visitors are shown a three digit numeric code for a few seconds which they are told to memorize. After the code disappears they are then challenged to recall and enter the code into a key pad to open a safe. When visitors enter the correct numbers, the safe is unlocked and the percentage of visitors who successfully typed in the code is shown on a screen inside. On successive tries, the code increases by one digit each time until the visitor makes a mistake. The interactive will be accompanied by additional graphic that give the visitor tips on remembering the code. |
